TODD LEIBL

Todd Leibl has been in the building and real estate industry for almost 40 years. His vast experience in development and construction allows him to lead the Companies teams in a variety of  areas allowing for growth of the company divisions.

 

 Todd Leibl started part time in the building industry while in College. Early in his real estate and construction career he performed a variety of assignments including customer service, estimating, purchasing, site superintendent and project management. After earning his degree in Criminal Justice he continued his education while staying in the building industry. Gaining experience from the construction side of the business he obtained his general contractors license in 1984. Many years have passed since Mr. Leibl began his career. Through this time passage he has become an expert in all areas of construction and the development business; from land acquisition to finance and from accounting to legal work.  


Todd Leibl started his education in real estate at home, learning from his father, a real estate attorney. His father spent his career as a full time attorney, specializing in Corporations and Real Estate.  Early on Todd Leibl worked in his father's law practice and picked up the contracting side from a client of his father's while building some small development projects. Eventually Todd Leibl took over and grew that company while adding several other companies to his credit. His projects can be now found in Southern California, Northern California, Washington State, Maui Hawaii, Tennessee and Utah. With many years in the industry, His primary companies have been involved  with over $300,000 million in construction, development and finance. 


"We've developed and built all types of projects for others but mostly ourselves; entry level homes and condos to high end custom single family homes, live/work units, retail and other commercial projects," Leibl says. "We provided architecture, project management and construction for a extensive program with Ethan Allen furniture stores of Danbury, Connecticut. We were their prime contractor/project manager for the Western States and consulted all through the entire United States. We have also been a pioneer for green building, starting with some basic starter homes to high end energy development”.  


Leibl's dedication to the building industry is apparent. His lobbying efforts at the CA State Capital and in Washington D.C. are important for the industry. He has served in many capacities with leadership positions; 

 

  • Board of Director for the Home Construction Insurance Company, a risk retention insurance group underwritten by Lloyd's of London.  

  • Past President of the Los Angeles County Building Industry Chapter.

  • Past Chairman for the California Building Industry Association's Housing Finance Committee.

  • California Building Industry Association committee member:

    • Building Codes Committee

    • Diversity Task Force for the California Building Industry Association

Leibl’s states that his greatest challenge is the housing crisis that we are facing: “There is a great need for entry-level homes for our next generation. Sustainability and smart growth development is essential. Where is our next generation going to live; financially speaking and without being a burden on the environment “. 


Todd Leibl, is a Southern California native currently residing in Newport Beach, CA. He has been married for over 35 years and has 2 Adult children.
